The Temple of Dendera is one of the most beautifully preserved and richly adorned ancient temples in Egypt.

This sacred site, dedicated primarily to Hathor, the goddess of love, music, healing, and fertility, is a masterpiece of Egyptian architecture and symbolism. One of the most fascinating and powerful discoveries within the temple was the Zodiac of Dendera, now displayed in the Louvre.


Egyptologist and Egyptian tour guide, Noha Aly, describes the symbolism, history and cultural significance of the temple and zodiac of Dendera.
